Buying Calves
One of the most asked questions we get is over the process of buying calves. It all starts with being added to our waitlist. This will give you first shot at all the calves we have born on our farm, and get your plans to add some wonderful fluffy calves kickstarted. To be added to the waitlist fill out the form at the bottom of this page or send a message to our Facebook! After claiming a calf a 50% deposit is required to hold them until pickup/delivery. Our calves stay on their mamas for 4 months, then are weaned to undergo a 4-8 week process of socialization. During this time your calves will be halter broken, vaccinated, wormed, and socialized. This sets your new family member up perfectly for their new life of being loved endlessly!
Pricing lists- Our pricing depends on 3 major factors; Coat Density, Color, and Size classification. We give our best guesses to predict the size your calves will mature, while we cannot guarantee, with the help of current calf and parent heights we can make a good guess!
Micros- 10k+ These calves are expected to mature under 36", and most micros will carry the chondrodisplaysia dwarfism gene.
Minis- 8-20k Miniature calves are expected to mature under 42", and have a naturally small stature
Mid-Minis- 6-15k Midsize miniatures are the largest of the smaller size cattle classifications. They will mature under 48", but most of our mid-minis will not ever reach that mark.
